Handmade Moroccan Inspired Tile From big concepts down to the small details, Macaluso Pools has you covered. After input from the owner regarding design and color, the tiles pictured here were custom made by Michelle Griffoul Studios
and installed by Macaluso Pools.
Earth, Fire, Air, and Water All the elements come together in this
hilltop Hope Ranch Estate. Fire pit and hardscape designed by Kris E. Kimpel Landscape Architects,
surrounding stonework by Nydam's Landscapes.
By the Light of the Moon The bits of abalone shells in the pebble finish,
and the opalescent colors in this tile really shine at night. The glass tiles are shaped to form a gentle bullnose edge on the steps. It would have been much easier to square them off, but not nearly as pretty.

Disappearing Safety Covers When open, these safety covers fully retract underneath the stone coping, essentially disappearing. When in use, they are tough enough to hold several hundred pounds, and blend nicely into the stone surround. As an added bonus, they are environmentally and pocket-book friendly by
helping the pool retain heat.
Stainless Steel Railings The railings on this pool are as much a work
of art as the pool itself. Custom made to exacting standards, they compliment the architectural style of the pool and surrounding landscape.
Outdoor Entertainment We don't stop at water features. Macaluso Pools
can build and install fire pits, countertops, bar-b-ques, and other outdoor entertainment components to
enhance your outdoor living space.
Specialty Tile These days, tiles are made from a variety of materials, and manufactured in a variety of ways. Sometimes a little bit of customization is what's needed to lift an aquatic environment from the ordinary to the extraordinary - and custom made or specialty tiles can be part of this process. We work with different artisans and suppliers from all over the world.
Custom Tile Work These playful tiles adorn the steps and
surround of a large, custom built, family pool. Installed by Macaluso Pools, the tiles were commissioned
by us from Michelle Griffoul Studios.
